I love street food: dagli Stati Uniti a Roma

Ultimamente è cresciuta sempre di più la moda dello street food, ovvero cibo di strada, che esiste in Italia già da un pò (si pensi ai coni gelato o alla pizza al taglio) ma che ultimamente sta acquistando sempre più fama grazie alla rivisitazione in chiave "gourmet" del cibo venduto.

Sicuramente la patria del cibo di strada sono gli Stati Uniti, dove da tempo esistono i famosi carretti che vendono gli hot dog e dove ho visto per la prima volta le cosiddette "ape car" trasformate in ristoranti, gelaterie e fast food ambulanti.
